No, you don't need any special software. All you need is access to the Internet and your own e-mail address, so that we can send you invitations for surveys by e-mail.
Our questionnaires work best in the latest versions of Internet Explorer and FireFox. We therefore recommend that you update your browser, if necessary. In most cases, however, the questionnaires also work in other browsers or in older versions. To be able to complete the questionnaires smoothly, your computer must also accept cookies.

Yes, in principle, anyone who studies at the UM may join the UM Student Monitor. To register, you need to have a student ID and a Maastricht University e-mail address.

For each survey you complete, we award points. When you have collected enough points, you may exchange these for a gift voucher of your choice. To be able to send you vouchers or prices, we need your name and address. These data, however, will never be disclosed to any third parties (see our Privacy and cookie statement).

The UM takes your views into consideration when taking its decisions. This applies to opinion polls and student satisfaction surveys, as well as inspiration for new or different activities.
In addition, for each questionnaire you complete, you will receive a small reward in the form of points. These points can be exchanged for a gift voucher of your choice once you have collected enough.
